DeFelsko PosiTest HHD Verifier is a stand-alone Crest Meter for verifying output voltage of both Pulse and continuous DC porosity detectors in the range from 500 to 35,000 Volts. Ideal for use with DeFelsko’s PosiTest HHD High-Voltage Holiday Detector.
After plugging the ground cable into the PosiTest HHD Verifier and connecting the other end to the ground lead of the High Voltage Holiday Detector being verified, simply press and release the power button of the PosiTest HHD Verifier for continuous monitoring of voltage on the probe on the end of the verifier. Displayed output will update when it is touching an exposed porosity detector electrode. Displayed voltage should match at displayed on the holiday detector’s screen, within the combined tolerances of both units. (For continuous DC units, the HHD Verifier probe tip should only be touched against the electrode to obtain the voltage output measurement.)
