  • DeFelsko’s PosiTest PC Powder Checker Non-contact Uncured Powder Thickness Gauge affordably measures uncured powder coatings using non-contact ultrasonic technology to predict a cured thickness. This helps eliminate both waste of excess material and costly rework of inadequate application thickness. PC Powder Checker allows the paint shop to control powder consumption to ensure adequate coverage of the coated part while reducing material wastage.

  • PosiTest PC Powder Checker uses ultrasound technology for non-contact measurement of uncured powder thickness to predict the cured coating thickness. One-handed operation and no wires means nothing to drag through and mess up applied powder prior to baking. PC Powder Checker measures between 0.8 and 4.0 mils of cured coating thickness, at a distance of 3/4″ (19 mm) from the surface of applied powder, and is ideal for moving lines and swinging parts.
