  • DeFelsko’s PosiTector SHD Shore Hardness Durometer handheld electronic instrument that measures the indentation hardness of non-metallic materials.

  • DeFelsko PosiTector SHD Shore Hardness Durometer measures the hardness of non-metallic materials according to the Shore A scale or Shore D scale. Couple DeFelsko’s universal Standard or Advanced PosiTector bodies with a Shore A or Shore D scale durometer probe, to measure the hardness of soft to hard materials or medium to harder materials, and store the readings for evaluation or incorporation into inspection reports.

    • Shore A – soft to hard materials, including soft rubber, elastomers, neoprene, silicone, etc.
    • Shore D – medium to harder materials, such as hard rubber, epoxies, hard plastics, PVC, acrylic, etc.

    PosiTector SHD Shore Hardness Durometers conforms to ASTM D2240, ISO 868, ISO 7267, ISO 7619, and DIN 53505 Standards.
