Ultrasonic Thickness Step Blocks
- Product Information
-
4-Step and 5-Step Ultrasonic Thickness Step Blocks are used for thickness and linearity calibration. In the inspection and manufacturing industries, Step Blocks are required to verify the measuring accuracy of Ultrasonic Thickness Gauges.
Available in metric (millimeters) and imperial (inch) units, UT Step Blocks have precision thicknesses in “steps” along the block, marked for thickness values in inches or mm. Imperial step values are of .100, .200, .300, .400, and .500 inch for a 5 step block; .250, .500, .750, and 1.000 for a 4 step block; metric values are 2.5, 5.0, 7.5, 10.0, and 12.5 mm. PH Tool 5-Step Blocks conform to ASTM E797 – Standard Practice for Measuring Thickness by Manual Ultrasonic Pulse-Echo Contact Method.
Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge Blocks are available in a variety of materials and thicknesses, with 4, 5, 8, or 10 steps, as well as custom-made (special order) sizes. Give us a call for more information and pricing on any step blocks or other calibration blocks.
