MBX Bristle Blaster by MontiPower is a hand-held, rotary-bristle tool for removal of corrosion and other surface debris and creating surface profile for coatings adhesion.
The MBX Bristle Blaster consists of the MBX high-performance Drive Unit and rotating wire belts with specially-designed bristles that remove corrosion, rust, scale, and coatings without damaging the substrate. Additionally, the Bristle Blaster generates anchor profiles ranging from 2.5 to 3.3 mils on hardened steel.
MBX Bristle Blaster is the ideal tool for surface cleaning contoured or textured surfaces, for spot-cleaning patches or small areas, and after-blast touch-up. The Bristle Blaster is straight-forward and simple to use; an instructional video is included with each kit.
The Bristle Blaster Pneumatic Tool is 3500 rpm with air cooling and noise reduction systems, and requires a 90 PSI air source. The Pneumatic Tool kit includes a removable dust-intake attachment that allows the user to hook into a vacuum system, including a standard shop vac or an HEPA system.
