Dakota Ultrasonics MVX A/B Scan Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge measures bare material or through coatings. The MVX A/B Scan features A-Scan rectified to detect pits and flaws in pulse/echo mode, and time-based B-scan for cross-sectional display of test material.

Dakota Ultrasonics’ MVX A/B Scan Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is a multi-mode, hand-held thickness gauge for a wide variety of thickness measurement. The MVX is equipped with RF waveform, +/- Rectified waveform, Time-based B-Scan, and Large digits. The A-Scan rectified mode is commonly used to detect pits and flaws in pulse/echo mode, and measuring through coatings in echo/echo mode. Time-based B-scan displays a cross-section of test material. A profile of the bottom surface of the test material can be viewed with this feature.
