DeFelsko PosiTector FHXS Probe for measuring coatings up to 400 mils (10,000 microns) in rugged environments. Designed with an alumina wear-face and braided steel cable, the PosiTector 6000 FHXS is ideal for measuring on hot or rough surfaces. The heavy-duty braided steel cable is kink-proof, wear and cut-resistant, to endure intense working environments. The alumina wear-face of the Positector 6000 FHXS Xtreme™ performs reliably on rough substrates, and permits measurement of coatings up to 400 mils thickness on hot surfaces to 250°C/500°F. PosiTector FHXS probe is large enough for the paint inspector to use while wearing protective gloves.
