NEW TITLE HERE
PCWI Pulse 40 Porosity Detector Industrial Kit for the detection of porosity in coatings – pinholes, bubbles, or holidays – is a critical step to preventing coating failure.
PCWI Pulse 40 Porosity Detectors are small, fully-portable porosity detectors featuring ABS body housing and finger-tip controls. PCWI Porosity Detectors have fully-adjustable voltage control by 100v increments through the full range of the detector, providing accurate, precise voltage output for all coating thicknesses where high-voltage testing is required.
Producing a regulated pulsed output of up to 40kv, the P40 can be used on carbon impregnated, damp, or contaminated coatings from 500um to 20mm. An audible and visual alarm will alert the user when a holiday is found. On carbonated rubber, flaws are located by a change in the spark colour.
The clip-on battery pack enables use in the field as well as in the lab or shop environment. The P40 Compact Detector can be operated off the battery pack, and allows you to easily substitute a spare battery.
Ask us about the PCWI Pulse Crest Meter for on-site calibration to ensure accurate output voltage.
