NEW TITLE HERE
Tramex’ CMEX5 Concrete Moisture Encounter provides instant non-destructive measurement of moisture content in concrete floors and slabs. With a concrete moisture scale of up to 6.9%, CMEX5 is suitable for testing new hardened slab as well as older concrete slab. This unit operates by electrical impedance with 8 co-planar electrodes on the base of the unit transmitting signals into the concrete to measure moisture non-invasively to a depth of about 3/4″ (20 mm).
Additionally, the CMEX5 incorporates plug-in ports to use Tramex’s Hygro-I® relative humidity probe for in-situ and hood-type RH testing in compliance with ASTM F2170* for the flooring industry. A pin-type wood moisture probe is also available, making the CMEX5 an ideal instrument for use in the flooring industry, flood and water damage, restoration, and indoor air quality industries.
